Design Awards 2010
The ADNZ/Resene Design Awards were conceived to showcase the work of New Zealand’s growing number of architectural designers. The awards acknowledge design excellence in residential and commercial / industrial projects, with a Supreme Winner award presented to the best overall design.

Mueller House by Graham Sawell Pyramidz Architecture Design Ltd Auckland/Northland

Judges’ Citation: “This rural house develops traditional forms with relaxed planning, partially enclosed outdoor living. Good use of building form to protect the occupants from prevailing winds. The stepping floor plates and building forms beautifully reflect and take advantage of the rolling hills of the site and its greater environment. Well thought through use of materials in relationship to form.”
