Renowned for its innovation and design flair, Dyson’s recently launched Dyson Airblade hand dryers are ‘cutting a smooth line’ in buildings, restaurants and public facilities across the country.
The hand dryer which Dyson launched last year, is the world’s most hygienic hand dryer. It dries hands completely in just ten seconds and is more hygienic and economical than conventional hand drying methods.
International recognition of the Dyson Airblade has been swift, with the dryer receiving numerous accolades from several global health, building and sustainability bodies, including the British Skin Foundation, NSF International and the Royal Institute of Public Health. It also received a Red Dot Award for product design and the HACCP International, an organisation that recognises food safety excellence by ensuring international food safety standards are met, has also endorsed it.
The Dyson Airblade uses high velocity sheets of unheated air and HEPA filtration to extract 99.9% of bacteria and mould providing a quicker, more hygienic solution to hand drying. The warm air used by traditional hand dryers fosters bacteria growth and blows it back onto clean hands, whilst paper towels are wasteful and are damaging to the environment.
An engineering breakthrough means that the Dyson Airblade uses up to 80 per cent less energy, compared to conventional hand dryers. Dyson’s patented Digital Motor doesn’t rely on carbon brushes giving it a fast and efficient spin that is in a league of its own.
