Graphisoft New Zealand has announced the upcoming release of ArchiCAD 14.
With Version 14, ArchiCAD pushes the envelope again, offering Architects an industry-first open design collaboration workflow with leading engineering solutions.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) has created unprecedented potential for design collaboration between architects and engineers, and ArchiCAD has been leading the way since Version One.
IFC becomes a fully-fledged workflow solution, enabling collaboration with engineers, regardless of their discipline or the name and version of the application with which they work.
Built-in change management makes co-ordination smooth and automatic, and developments in the revolutionary BIM Server based Teamwork solution further improve the management of design teams working on shared BIM projects.
Version 14 also introduces productivity improvements to the full cycle of BIM workflow. Better 3D visualisation, enhanced 2D drafting, improved library handling and refined user interactions are all included, resulting in a faster and more polished design and documentation workflow.
ArchiCAD 14 will be shipping in July 2010.
