Hi Colin,
Following the seminar at Waipuna Lodge, I remember asking about the suitability of Resene Multishield+ acrylic glaze over Hi-Glo gloss on my timber weatherboard house. I understand it extends paint life by 2 fold or better.
In reading the fact sheet D54a under ‘Limitations’ it reads:
5. Not recommended for use on exterior timber or large areas of interior timber.
I’d like further reassurance it will not compromise the existing paint and extend life as hoped. Please would you clarify for me?
Regards
Phil

Hiya Phil,
Sorry about the confusion, just to clarify, I do not recommend it as a clear finish over large areas of new or bare timber. The comment does not apply to painted timber surfaces so yes you will get your extended life as hoped.
We may look at adjusting the wording of that ‘limitation’ to better reflect this.
Thanks Colin
