The latest release from Allaporta, K2O, breaks new ground in sliding door systems.
Allaporta have now achieved visual and architectural impact in their sliding doors through an exposed rolling mechanism. The rollers themselves are inset into either a glass or timber panel. These are available as a single or double installation.
Use it as a space saving and super-stylish sliding door option or simply as an artwork alternative – it really is a work of art in its own right. The panel height is adjustable in-situ and is a quick and easy adjustment to make. Panel weights are up to 120kg; for 10mm glass or 40-46mm timber panel – complemented by the circle handle.
Rollers come in polished chrome and the track in anodised aluminium with polished chrome covers. The solution offers a funky, space-enhancing yet elegant addition to any room.

Great looking system. Does it just come in the one size? What material are the internal bearings and components made from?

Hi Cameron. Thanks for your comments. Rollers are one size. Track lengths are 1730, 2130 2732 and 3332mm. Weight of 120Kg is main restriction on size of panel (other than track length). Roller is Zamak with polished chrome finish; Wheels are Delrin with ground shielded and screened ball bearings; track is anodised aluminium,; lower guide Zamak; stopper – Zamak with Delrin bumper. Hello Really liked the system. Size of opening 2410×1900. Need single glass door. Only moves in one direction. Can I use it. Excuse me for my English.

Hi Vladimir. Thank you for your comment – it really is a ‘fun’ system with the movement of the wheel being visible. Thank you also for your question. The largest size a single glass panel can be is 1065mm, as the track length for a single door is a specific maximum length of 2130mm. Unfortunately it appears that this would be too small for your opening. Your opening would need to be 1000mm for the system to be suitable as a single panel installation.
