Lifetime Design has partnered with PrefabNZ and numerous other designers, developers and builders to develop the PrefabNZ Canterbury Housing Innovation Park.

The Housing Park is a selection of buildings which will showcase permanent materials and quality architectural design produced using prefab/offsite construction technologies. The Housing Park is in direct response to the devastating Canterbury earthquakes and the urgent need for high quality permanent buildings. Prefab buildings are ideally placed to respond to the Canterbury rebuild as they can deliver built solutions on time, on budget and at a high quality design.

The development of the Housing Park recognises the importance of quality architectural design that considers whole-of-life design and future-proofing homes to cater to the changing demographics of our population.

The Lifemark by Lifetime Design is an innovative design led solution which caters to all people at every stage of life – common sense design principles which will shape the future of NZ housing. It is the building sectors equivalent to the Heart Foundation tick, or the Qualmark for Tourism NZ. It is a seal of approval that recognises quality design for future proofing a home.

The Housing Park will be open to the public and industry alike who will be invited along to special events to be educated on quality Prefab housing solution.

See www.lifemark.co.nz for further information. For assessment of plans or to discuss how to get a Lifemark you can contact Andrew Olsen on 0800 227 888 or email andrew.olsen@lifemark.co.nz

    Hi Andrew,

I have a request. Our Trust is looking at building 8 new homes and I see on the SHU application that we need a 5 star sign off by you for our 4 homes that we built in 2009 . You did visit one of the homes when you up here last.

What do we have to do through you to get the sign off?
